Where has the Lurker Been??

I haven't had much time to catch up on every one's blogs until late Tuesday night. As always it was so delightful to read all of your news and see all of the cutest grandchildren in the world. After seeing Ashley off on Sunday and going to church I did what all crafters getting ready for Mini Bazaar and the busiest week of the Spring do. I got in bed and finished my Anita Stansfield book. It was so good and I had to finish it. On Monday morning I was feeling quite over whelmed. I had huge boxes in the garage to unpack, vinyl to be covered, and candles to haul. So I got in the hottest bath, drank a diet coke and watched my soap opera. Then I decided I would need a substantial lunch and a 44 ounce Diet Coke so I went to Subway. I knew by now I was never going to make the deadline of getting all my stuff in the door of the Mini Bazaar by 8:00 on Tuesday night. But like always I shifted into gear and got r done. (as Justin's little buddies always said)

These are pictures before adding all of the New Spring and Easter gifts to my booth. The bottom booth is for mine and Emily's vinyl. It is a new booth and a little dark and crowded but I like my new neighbors on both sides. The one lady is the lady that designs for Adams and Co. She loves it when she sees that I have their products that she designs because she gets a royalty. Oh, to be so talented. (is that coveting? of course, i do it well) The other lady paints her own stuff and she has fun Easter bowls and signs. They will make our booth look great Em!

Well on Tuesday I got up with little to no energy but I got that darn Danali loaded to the hilt and headed on over to Mini Bazaar. I should think I should be a tiny, skinny, little thing from hauling stuff up and down those stairs. But I'm not cause my pockets are filled with chocolate Easter Eggs and I have my pop in the car. I got that car load unloaded and went home for the 2nd car load. It was not quite as much, which was a relief At this time it was around 5:00 so I let dad and the boys know they were on there own for dinner. I headed back and got everything unloaded and in its place by the magical hour of 8:00 that night.

After re-arranging things at least three or four times, I felt like it looked good enough. It was fun putting the different colors together. I only broke one item while setting up and it was just a $5.00 item. I did ok in that area this time. Well on my way home I knew I had to be starving so I stopped for one of my favorites.Nacohs from PuertoVaherta whatever,(you know my favorite Mexican rest.) I got home and dad had just started a movie, so I ate my Nachos and actually laid on the couch and watched the whole movie. Yes, today is Wednesday and it is a new day. I worked all day at Mike's Pharmacy. I thought I was doing great on time when I realized my clock in the back had not been turned forward. So at 4:15 (i thought it was 3:15) I still had to be to the accountants, and the bank, and the post office and back to Mini Bazaar before 5:00. Needless to say, I sent a helper to the acct., had to put all deposits in the overnight depository and my payments will not be post marked until tomorrow. But I did make it to Mini Bazaar to put in my final items and look around for awhile. I already spent $250.oo and I haven't earned a dime yet. That's what I love about my JOB. I always spend before I earn at that darn place. Oh well, now lets just hope for the best and hope I don't have to haul it all back down those stairs and back to the garage.
