Today was a mile stone in Justin's life. He actually had to go shopping for clothing. Mike, Chad and I escorted the future Elder to downtown Idaho Falls. We entered Ferrell's with nothing but a list and came out with a wardrobe fit for Elder Merrill. After browsing a bit we got right down to the basics of it all. 15 white shirts (wrinkle free of course) 2 new suits with padded knees and double fabric in the butt (one black pin stripe and one olive) 2 pairs of shoes (one black, one brown) 2 new belts, handkerchiefs, 12 pairs of socks, and 6 new ties. Justin and Chad picked out all of the ties. There was one I questioned. It is pink and blue. We'll see if this one flies by the mission president. Hopefully he will trade it in the MTC. They both loved it though.
Chad and Mike could not let the opportunity go by to look at great looking suits and ties. Chad ordered a Brown pin stripe suit and threw in a tie. Mike got out with pants and some ties. (just between us girls I was utterly disgusted at how much fun they were having and there was not ONE thing I wanted to look at in the ladies dept) Good thing because when it was all said and done the cash register was cha-chinging. Justin had a headache by now and needed lunch. We loaded up most of the treasures and will return for the remaining after alterations. All three of these boys in my life make me Laugh Out Loud!!

What a fun shopping day. He will be a great missionary. When does he leave?
Oh come on Sandy, did't you want one of those "cover your hair from the wind" scarves I see in the background of one of those pictures...only 2.99. ha ha! j/k those things just remind me of my grandma! ;)
Now my serious comment...it must be so neat to be doing all the stuff to get ready to send off a missionary. He looks good!
